Thinking about a proposal as a preview or trailer for the full grant proposal, select another grant proposal from the Examples of Successful Grant Proposals (one you have not selected previously) and focus on the summary.

Orchard Middle School has educated trained staff that work with there at-risk students with learning and reading disabilities to improve their reading skills 3 teachers with, holds a bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Special Education with years of experience working with children with learning disabilities.

The project’s total cost and the amount being requested from the funder is $16,504.
The best piece of advice I would give to someone writing a summary applying for a grant for the first time is to be sure to stress the points important to the funder and ensure the summary highlights the potential funder’s priorities. It is very easy to overlook the funder’s request when writing your summary n to ensure you are meeting their requirements and expectations.
